Also made with Sauvignon Blanc, this Menade’s suggestion for a perfect late afternoon. It is also the first wine that we release each year.

Fermentation, as ever, with its natural yeasts, is however, in this instance, arrested by a radical reduction in temperature as soon as we feel that we’ve achieved the perfect sweetness/acid ratio – for although this is a sweet wine with an appreciable proportion of natural residual sugar its success and popularity are due to its freshness, zest and all important balancing acidity.

Dulce Menade is exotic, festive, and jolly and therefore ideal as either an aperitif or dessert wine.
